A few more things we do whilst training

Train for short periods of time

End training before dog is tired or bored

Where appropriate use excitement to encourage dog

Link lower level rewards with higher level rewards so the lower have more meaning

Choose rewards to suit what you are teaching eg a difficult task a more important reward

Train in quite boring places to begin with

Be fun not boring

Break exercises down into small pieces
