Teaching dog's to retrieve again lots of different ways

Here's an idea of one
Have your dog at one end of a corridor or hallway facing one end of it but only a couple of steps from it
Get toy toss it to the end your facing dog gets it turns to you and you can show it another toy, dog drops first near you and you toss second toy you now can repeat slowly moving further back till you can stand at one end of hallway throw toy dog gets it runs back and you throw second

There's more to this particular method but this gives you an idea of the beginning of one method

No pulling on lead

There's lots of ways to teach every exercise
Every dog is different this is just one of many ways to teach your dog to walk without pulling
First have a motivated dog
As for equipment I personally don't think it really matters if it's a collar or a harness
A harness makes it more comfortable for a dog to pull.

Find a quite boring place with dog on lead take a step back when dog follows the one pace reward, repeat a number of times make it fun and exciting to follow you .
Have frequent breaks don't train for too long, get dog to follow back again a number of times and reward each pace.
Now repeat what you have been doing but this time sideways away from the dog.
So now dog moves with you as you move back and sideways well done 👍

Now try adding a command just before you move back or sideways eg let's go then move dog follows and reward, now try saying let's go and move a pace forward dog follows and then reward look your dog's haven't pulled

What we are doing is teaching dog's to follow you and stop automatically when you do and to enjoy being with you
